People often ask me what I am reading. The answer is usually complex. I am usually reading 3 or 4 different books at a time. I love Stephen King, so on any given day, you can find me reading one of his many books (I think I have them all!). Also, you might find me reading something witty. I recently purchased Bill Cosby’s book, “Come on people” and found that it was far more serious material than I expected. Bill’s message is clear and profound. I must admit that although it wasn’t the old funny side of Bill, I enjoyed it. Now on the non-traditional hardback and paperback arena, I can be found reading an ebook or two or three on any given day. These are mostly marketing tips and strategies, written by my friends and fellow marketers.

If I had to recommend a book that I would call a “Must Read”, it would have to be the new book by Ted Leonsis. In case you don’t know who Ted is (pictured below with me  above),  Ted is is an Internet pioneer, sports team owner, investor, filmmaker, author and philanthropist. His early new media company, Redgate Communications was acquired by America Online in 1994, and Leonsis became a senior AOL executive for the next 13 years. He is currently owner of sports properties, including the NHL‘s Washington Capitals, Chairman of Revolution Money, SnagFilms, and other companies, the producer of documentary films such as the Peabody and the Emmy Award-winning Nanking and the author of The Business of Happiness.

Now although I read and enjoy a lot of books, I don’t normally recommend books to my blog readers.

Today, I am making an exception.
